Bounce House Rental Policies and Agreement

Term:

The Lessee’s right to possession of the Rental Equipment will begin upon the items being delivered to the Lessee and ends when the items are picked up by Bounce Tents and Events LLC unless otherwise terminated consistent with this Agreement. 

At the end of the Term, Lessee shall return the Equipment to Bounce Tents and Events LLC and during that time, the Lessee agrees to keep the Rental Equipment in the lessee’s care and custody. The Lessee agrees not to loan, sublet, rent, sell, or remove Rental Equipment from the delivery address.

Booking & Payment:

A $25 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your rental. The remaining balance is due upon delivery date. Bounce Tents and Events LLC accepts Cash/Debit/Credit Card/Venmo.

Tax – Bounce Tents and Events LLC charges a 7% sales tax on all Rental Equipment. 

Cancellation Policy:

Rentals can be canceled 14 Days before the rental date. Cancellation after this time will incur 50% the cost of the rental(s). In the event of a Lesser’s cancellation, the å is forfeited – as it is non-refundable. However, if the Lessee re-schedules the booking the deposit can be transferred to a new booking subject to availability.

Weather Policy:

For safety purposes, Inflatable Bounce Houses will not be set up in the event of a predicted storm or high wind situation. Bounce Tents and Events LLC and Lessor both reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any reservations [based on booking availability] due to severe or imminent deterioration of weather conditions. Deposits and payments will be 100% refunded if the Lessee decides not to reschedule. The weather forecast, storms, and high winds will be assessed on the day of the event (no later than 8:00 AM). Cancellations and refunds will be communicated. If light rain is in the forecast (30% chance or less), and the Lessee chooses NOT to go through with the rental, Bounce Tents and Events LLC will allow the Lessor to use their security deposit as a credit towards a new reservation. That credit will expire after 1 year of its being issued.

Refund Policy:

Inclement weather is the only variable that will necessitate a refund. A REFUND WILL NOT BE ISSUED for any other reason except inclement weather. However, NO REFUND will be issued after the Rental Equipment has been delivered, even if the Rental Equipment is not used.

Travel Expenses: Always Complimentary

Bounce Tents and Events LLC aim to deliver on time, but we will not be held responsible for delay incurred due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. traffic problems, bad weather).

Delivery & Pick-up Operations:

The Lessee agrees to be present at the time of delivery and pick-up of Rental Equipment. Sign-off will be required by you before our team leaves the premises.

Overnight Rentals:

Overnight Rentals require the blower to be removed from the inflatable device and locked up in a secure location overnight.

Right of Entry:

The Lessee grants Bounce Tents and Events LLC the right to enter the delivery property for delivery setup and return pick-up of the Rental Equipment within the periods set forth during the terms of this contract. Any special entry requirements and/or restrictions shall be provided to us before the delivery date such as but not limited to, door entry code, lack of parking, stairs, narrow doorways, etc. Failure to do so may result in Bounce Tents and Events LLC not being able to deliver.

Inflatable Bounce House Setup Requirements:

Bounce Tents and Events LLC Inflatable Bounce House unit(s) must be operated over a smooth or compatible surface, such as grass, dirt, concrete, or other hard surfaces. The Rental Equipment will NOT be set up on mud, feces, rough surfaces, such as rocks, gravel, bricks, glass, or any other jagged objects that cause damage to the equipment. The Rental Equipment can not be near tree branches, power lines, or fences. There should be open space around all sides of the Inflatable Bounce House.

It is the Lessee’s responsibility to check the site measurements for the required package(s), ensure that there will be adequate space surrounding the play equipment, and also ensure that there is a clear pathway to the setup area before Bounce Tents and Events LLC  arrives at the property.

We will arrive approximately 1 hour before the scheduled even time, unless otherwise agreed. This will give us enough time and space to set up the Inflatable Bounce House without guests/children interfering.

If sufficient space is not available at the event site for the Rental Equipment ordered, and/or Bounce Tents and Events LLC deems it unsafe for participants to operate equipment, the Rental Equipment WILL NOT BE SETUP, and the Lessee will still be charged for them, forfeiting payment and any refund.

Power Requirements:

• We require power no more than 100 feet away from each inflatable unit. 
• We must use their own power cords. DO NOT relocate the power after the Bouncy House Inflatable have been set up.
• We need a dedicated 20 amp circuit for each blower required for the inflatable(s). Do not plug other electrical devices into the same circuit or the circuit will trip.
• If the Lessee is providing power and loss of power occurs, no refunds will be provided.
• Power lines and Trees: Lessee agrees to check for low-hanging lines and trees that could scrape the inflatable, and also mark off all underground water, power, or gas lines.

Rental Malfunctions:

Lessee agrees to immediately discontinue the use of rented items should it at any time become unsafe or in a state of disrepair, and will immediately (one hour or less) notify Bounce Tents and Events LLC of the facts. We agrees at our discretion to make the items operable within a reasonable time, provide a like item if available, make a like item available at another time, or adjust rental charges. The provision does not relieve the Lessee from the obligations of this agreement. In all events, Bounce Tents and Events LLC shall not be liable for injury or damage resulting from failure or defect of rented items.

Unit Damage, Unit Negligence Or Abuse:

We will deliver the Rental Equipment in good condition, and it shall be returned in the same as-is condition (ordinary wear and tear accepted). ‘’Ordinary wear and tear ‘’is the normal deterioration of the Rental Equipment caused by ordinary, reasonable, and proper use of the Rental Equipment. Damage that is not “ordinary wear and tears” includes, but is not limited to, cutting or tearing of vinyl or netting, damage due to overturning, overloading, exceeding rated capacities, breakage, improper use, abuse, lack of cleaning, drying due to rain and/or not limited to a sprinkler system, hoses, super soakers, etc., contamination of or dirtying of rental equipment with non-approved items such as chemicals, food, paint, silly string, mud, clay, or other materials. Things like silly string and paint cause permanent damage to the material in which inflatables are manufactured and will require a complete replacement of the rental unit.

If the Lessee chooses to deflate the Rental Equipment before the arrival of the pick-up attendant, it must be re-inflated for inspection and preliminary cleaning before being packed up.

Lesser will be responsible for all damages to any of the Rental Equipment in this agreement that were not caused by ordinary wear and tear. Lessee will also be responsible for a replacement if rental(s) are not returned.

Damage fees vary, but ranges are estimated below: 

Fees Per Unit: 

• $100 (cleaning) 
• $200-$500 (damage) 
• $4000 & up for a replacement if the unit is damaged beyond repair, lost, stolen or the lessee refuses to give it back after the term agreed upon by both parties.

Safety Rules:

Safety is a TOP PRIORITY for us. All employees of Bounce Tents and Events LLC are experienced and trained in setting up and operating inflatables. Bounce House Inflatables is staked down/heavily weighted down and fully inspected for safety before operating.

It's the responsibility of the Lessee to ensure that all possible precautions are taken to avoid injury to people(s) or damage to the Rental Equipment. You must be available for us to go over safety and operating guidelines for the Rental Equipment at the time of setup. Sign-off will be required by Lessee before the our team leaves the premises.

Lessee must ensure the following safety instructions are followed:

• A responsible adult attendant (21 years or older) must be posted at the entrance of the inflatable unit at all times. They should control participants' behavior; anyone not complying should be removed. At NO TIME should the Bounce House Inflatable be left unattended. If the unit can not be supervised, it must be deflated until someone can be provided to oversee all safety requirements. Lesser can also arrange for our staff to operate the equipment throughout the event at an extra cost.
• You must go over safety measures with every person(s) who wants to use the Bounce House Inflatable.
• Attendant MUST pay attention NOT to Exceed the Maximum amount people/weight allowed in the Bounce House Inflatable at once.
• The Bounce House Inflatable is designed for children and is not recommended for adults due to their heavy weight.
• Pregnant women, children under 3 years of age, anyone with head, neck, back, or any muscular-skeletal injuries, disabilities, heart problems, asthma, bronchitis, circulatory problems, and others who may be susceptible to injury from falls, bumps, or bouncing are not permitted in the Bouncy House Inflatable at any time. (ALWAYS CONSULT A PHYSICIAN IF YOU HAVE ANY CONCERNS)
• No shoes are allowed, but wearing socks is recommended to avoid skin burns.
• Glasses, jewelry, badges, pens, keys, and other sharp objects that may injure others MUST be removed before using the inflatable.
• Don't allow food, drinks, candy, or chewing gum in the Bounce House Inflatable. This is a choking hazard and may cause the lessee extra cleaning fees.
• No Animals, silly strings, face paint, toys, sharp objects, etc. on or near the inflatable. These can damage the Bounce House Inflatable.
• Assist all participants in entering/exiting the unit.
• Make sure there is plenty of space between players to avoid a collision.
• Do not ever slide head first to avoid a head injury and always slide feet first.
• Separate children of different ages and abilities, so that larger kids don’t accidentally hurt the smaller ones, due to colliding with and/or falling under an older child.
• Don’t let participants sit or lie down while others are bouncing around them.
• Don’t allow people to perform flips or engage in rough play, wrestling, horseplay, etc. in or on the inflatable. This can cause injuries such as broken limbs.
• Riders are not allowed to jump against, climb or play against the netting or side walls of the Bounce House Inflatable
• Have people stay away from the entrance or exit.
• Keep the Bounce House Inflatable away from heat and open flames. The inflatable material will burn or melt when in contact with open flames or heat. This means avoiding things like smoking or barbecuing near the Bounce House Inflatable.
• Keep children away from Bounce House Inflatable blowers; risk of electric shock and serious injury from moving parts of the blower.
• Do not insert fingers, toes, or objects into the blower.
• If the blower malfunctions or deflates, stop use immediately and evacuate occupants safely.
• Riders MUST not use the Rental Equipment during inclement weather such as heavy rain, high winds, or temperatures below 40 degrees. If winds start affecting the structure, or if you see rain, lightning, or any other unsafe conditions, get everyone out of the Bounce House Inflatable, then turn off the blower motor until conditions improve.

Disclaimer of Warranties:

We makes no warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, as to the condition of or performance of any Rental Equipment, and the lessee agrees to immediately cease use of the Rental Equipment and contact Bounce Tents and Events LLC if any of the Rental Equipment appears to not be working properly. Lessee agrees to use the Rental Equipment at their own risk.
